Community Involvement in Brevard County Pool Care
Local Pool Care Backed by Industry Involvement and Water Safety Awareness
A Reliable Pool Service is a family-owned pool company serving homeowners across Melbourne, Palm Bay, and nearby Brevard County communities. Our day-to-day work is pool cleaning, pool maintenance, and pool repair, but our role in the community is bigger than keeping water clear. We believe pool care also includes supporting safer swimming, responsible pool ownership, and professional standards within the Florida pool indutry.
That is why A Reliable Pool Service is proud to be connected with the Florida Swimming Pool Association, commonly known as FSPA, and to support industry efforts that bring attention to water safety education, including Every Child a Swimmer.
Proud FSPA Members for 10+ Years
A Reliable Pool Service has been part of the Florida pool industry for years, and our team values the role FSPA plays in raising standards for pool professionals throughout the state. FSPA describes its mission around helping make pool ownership safe and enjoyable through education, advocacy, and resources for both pool owners and pool professionals.2
For Brevard County homeowners, that matters. Pool service is not only about skimming the surface or adding chemicals. A dependable pool company needs to understand water care, equipment, filtration, pumps, heaters, salt systems, seasonal weather, and the conditions that affect Florida pools week after week.
Our long-term FSPA involvement reflects the way we want to operate: professionally, locally, and with a commitment to continuing education in an industry that directly affects family safety and everyday home enjoyment.
Nana’s Children’s Home, Inc . (Nana’s House) was established in 2007. Our 502(c)(3) ministry was created to provide safe, loving homes for Neglected, Abused, Needy or Abandoned children in the Brevard County foster care system. Nana’s House objective is to make it easier for Christian families to consider becoming foster parents by offering housing and wrap-around support. Our gated community located in W Melbourne offers eight 4-bedroom homes, community center, pavilion, playground and beautiful pool. After completion of the community in 2020, Trey (A Reliable Pool Service) approached our offices to offer his pool services as a donation. His team has continued to keep our pool safe and clean for our families who use this pool year-round. We are so grateful to A Reliable Pool Service and their commitment to our ministry.
Supporting Nana’s House Through Donated Pool Care
A Reliable Pool Service is proud to support Nana’s House, also known as Nana’s Children’s Home, Inc., a Brevard County nonprofit ministry established in 2007 to provide safe, loving homes for children in the local foster care system.
Nana’s House serves neglected, abused, needy, and abandoned children by creating a supportive community where Christian foster families can provide care. Its gated community in West Melbourne includes eight four-bedroom homes, a community center, pavilion, playground, and pool.
After the Nana’s House community was completed in 2020, Trey of A Reliable Pool Service approached the organization and offered to donate pool service for the property. Since then, the A Reliable Pool Service team has continued to help keep the pool clean, safe, and ready for the families who use it throughout the year.
For Trey and the A Reliable Pool Service team, this work is more than routine pool maintenance. It is a meaningful way to support a local organization that gives children and foster families a safe, loving place to grow.
Pools are part of everyday life in Florida, but in a community setting like Nana’s House, proper pool care carries an even greater responsibility. Clean water, balanced chemistry, working equipment, and consistent maintenance all help create a safer swimming environment for the children and families who use the pool.
A Reliable Pool Service is honored to help care for this pool so Nana’s House can focus more of its energy and resources on the children and families it serves.
Every Child a Swimmer is a water safety initiative connected with the International Swimming Hall of Fame. The program focuses on helping expand access to swim lessons, supporting water safety awareness, and advocating for lifesaving swim education resources.3
Florida families understand how important this mission is. Pools are part of daily life across Brevard County, especially in communities like Melbourne, Palm Bay, Satellite Beach, Indian Harbour Beach, Indialantic, Viera, Rockledge, Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach, and West Melbourne. With so many backyard pools, vacation rental pools, and year-round swimming opportunities, water safety is not a seasonal talking point. It is part of responsible pool ownership.
A Reliable Pool Service supports the message behind Every Child a Swimmer because the pool industry has a responsibility to help keep safety visible. Clean water, working equipment, consistent maintenance, and swim education all contribute to a safer pool environment.
Team Participation in Pool-Industry Community Events
Our team believes community involvement should be real, visible, and connected to the work we do every day. Trey, John, Anthony, Tyler, and other members of the A Reliable Pool Service team have participated in pool-industry events that support water safety causes, including golf events benefiting Every Child a Swimmer.
If confirmed by the event photos, this section can reference the HornerXpress 38th Annual Golf Classic to Benefit Every Child a Swimmer. The 2025 event page states that proceeds help provide opportunities for low- to no-cost swim lesson scholarships for qualified children.4
These moments matter because they show the people behind the company. When homeowners invite a pool service team onto their property week after week, trust matters. The same people maintaining pools, checking equipment, balancing water, and helping with repairs are also part of a larger Florida pool community that values safer swimming and professional responsibility.
